Some time back we started to look at bringing a UK manufactured gaiter to the market as folk kept asking us for a gaiter that had characteristics similar to a brand that had become unavailable. So we are now finally ready to launch the "Munro" gaiter.
The gaiters have been developed and manufactured in conjunction with Phil Ogden & Moray Outfitters have also played a big part field test etc.
The outer is a quiet material called "Alcantara" which has been "Fluro-Carbon" treated for water repellancy - we stayed away from Cordura as this is noisy in some environments.
Unlike most gaiters on the market we have a 2oz seamless, waterproof & breathable liner which prevents condensation/sweat build on the inside of the gaiter.
Quality front zip with Velcro front cover & draw string and toggle knee hem.
Cord heel fastening - the consensus was that most Ghillies prefer a cord fastening rather than the belt/strap variety as these break in time or get snagged on quad bike foot rests.
There is a Large (standard) size & XL - XL's are generous as many of the strapping Northern lads complain that getting a gaiter to fit them is a challenge!
