i keep reading and seeing bits about using fish oils as fox bait
how would you use them? mix them with a dry mixer?
has anyone got any ideas? the foxes i'm shooting lately seem to be coming into bait more than the caller
but its dear using cat food all the time so was thinking of getting 1 LITRE bottle of fish oil and mixing it with something else smelly
please help me LOL decathlon do a Sardine oil enriched with bits of sardine, which sounded good to me

Not sure about the oil but I was thinking about putting a load of salmon skins into a tub and leaving them to rot for a few weeks then use the juice as an attractant.

ANYTHING will work as fox bait , if they smell iton there forays ,they will find it

But usually the smellier the better

with the ground being so dry tip the food down the cracks, they will find it and it won't get eaten during the day...

did hear about horsehoof clippings kept in water in a sunny spot but told do not get it on you , clothing etc or end up burning it

A lady I know leaves her horses foot trimmings lying around. They are gone within a few days! I don't know why but fox's love it.

Im the same as VSS or i get a tin of tuna in oil and sling it around the spot and sit back, keeps them foraging in the area looking for the smelly food for ages rather than grab and run. Gralloch is great but the Buzzards and Kites get it before nightfall Unless you use a bait pipe.
Drainage pipe buried vertical in the ground with 3 foot above ground and slots cut in it work well with anything but a bit of scattered tuna helps on the day you sit out Link to bait pipe
