Heading out soon , I usually go horse riding but fancy going fishing this time ? I stay at Maspolomas when I’m there so local to that area would be preferred.

Any recommendations from the fishy types on here ?

Fishing is my new thing to learn now that I’m good enough at golf for me .

Is there no end to your talents Rake.. :)..

If you catch a good 'un be sure to post it on the specimen Fishes thread :norty:

Enjoy the holiday, ya lucky bugger.

Well, my guitar teacher might tell you he’s found the end of one of my talents 😂

I’ve been going through a very lazy stage with them , so I’ll learn fishing to fill the gaps haha.

Head to Puerto Rico, a few miles down the coast - you can get a ferry there and back. Book a trip on Cavalier or Blue Marlin 3. You’re too late for marlin but might get some tuna or at worst bottom fishing but that can be multi species. Ask for Hafid - top bloke.

Getting out in a boat is probably the best way of avoiding all the dodgy grifters on the beach trying to flog you quality towels/blanket, handbags and "genuine" ray bans.......and any other tat you can think of!
Was in Maspalomas at this time last year, good laugh, but a pain trying to tell them to p*ss off all the time!
Enjoy the fishing and the warm weather!
