Simple one, but I didn’t find much “simple instructions” out there, so posting here in case it helps someone else.
I have a Hushpower mossberg 500 that I am fitting a picatinny rail on.
Apparently after 1997 they were tapped and grub screws ready for accessories. Mine is almost new so yes it has screws. Simple enough job to back them out.

The picatinny rail was a Chinese cheapo from Amazon Amazon product ASIN B07J4LM7JHCame with 4 screws and an Allen key that got binned. This is what’s in the box.

Bit of oil on the action, rail holes matched up and a bit of loctite 243 on the threads. All 4 screws needed to be wound in halfway to ensure alignment. Tightened, and torque on the fat wrench was 25 pounds without any problems/ snapped screws etc.

I’ve heard folk complain in other rail kits that the screws needed trimming, these were spot on. Another miracle of Chinese engineering
Job done. Like I said, simple. Hope it helps someone out that wants a torch/ sight etc mounted on a mossie.
