The direct from China ones on Amazon are usually fine.. I've had/got a few Maximum catch and Piscifun are brands to look out for, got saltwater versions of both and the drag is smooth, If you have a look on Amazon and then browse some very expensive reels on Sportfish or similar, you may notice some remarkable similarities in many ways except for the price.
