I found page 97 about "back conversion" of air weapons of over 12ft/lbs to below 12ft/lbs useful. That once s1 an air weapon remains always s1.
well I upped mine in Scotland to s1 and it was added to my FAC. In later reduced it, and they took it off and kept it as a sub 12.

Waste of time really, kick out the asylum seekers raping young girls on the street instead of trying to micro manage the small irrelevancies in our society.
But, that probably makes too much sense
 
Many many sub 12ft lbs air rifles are at times over the limit, as they aren't on FAC the spring is shortened, the transfer port adjusted or similar. No body ever knows.

Repairing a 'malfunctioning' rifle is not de-tuning, a different issue.
Same as if your 22lr 'doubled' one time because, perhaps, the firing pin was stuck. Fix the problem and everything is good.
