Early AM gloom for foxy and then a while later I saw these two young stags at 7-800 away. Top stag showing his sun bleached antlers due to be cast soon.
That is a very nice photo of Mr Fox - B&W or just the morning grey?
The Big Fellah - interesting that there seems to be minimal colour to him antlers - or trick of the light? Smaller Fellah his wing/bat-man?
Did you not see the OP line mate? Once summer is on its way they stop rubbing as much and the tannin staining from the previous green tree bark rubbing is simply bleached or weathered away. A good sign of "due to be cast soon."
