Went to get complimentary tickets earlier today for this year's Game Fair at Ragley Hall. Typed my BASC membership no. in, submitted it, and got the reply that this membership no. had already received it's allocation. After a couple of emails with the booking company, they said that it had been used by another member, but they had now cancelled the order, and I would be able to book; which I have duly done with no problems.
Just wondered if anyone else has had a similar experience. It seems to me that this booking system is far from secure, as anyone could type in a nine digit number, and as long as it matched a unused membership no., they could claim the tickets.
Me, being of a fairly suspicious nature, might suspect something even more sinister!
