I shoot with a 16 bore,as long as the belt has pockets instead of open loops, I've found that the cartridges rarely if ever drop out. Hope this helps.

If it's of any interest I have two 16g cartridge belts, one (marked 16g in the second photo below) a Brady, the other extendable one of unknown make but top class manufacture.
