Garden Air Rifle Range

Cheers guys, I have been looking at this a bit today and have decided to build a bit of a concrete bunker up the field. My plan is to cut two 2x2 slabs down diagonally so they are 1ft high at the rear and 2ft at the front. Then place a 6ft gravel board across them and two more on top as a roof. Bank some sand up at the back and place the targets in under the roof. Plenty of space to put loads of targets / spinners etc in front.
An old redundant coal bunker of the sort once favoured in Lincolnshire with the front panel removed and filled with sand?

Again, if it helps, thinking off the grid with suitable mesh and cement and a wooden mould pattern could you not cast the sides flat (you'll get two sides if you are careful with the pattern mould) and then dig a square U shaped trench erect the sides and back secure them together then cement them into the trench you've dug?
