Hi, I have 1x Garmin TT15 & 1x T5 mini collars in good condition and possibly looking to sell them but have no idea of the value of the collars second hand as I bought a job lot. Appreciate any advice.
Regards

If its a boot legged US/EU version about £350-£375

If its UK spec as in can update it via computer (without buggering it up) not much more about £450 to £500 on a very good day.

You can buy new UK spec garmin for about £650 ish new

So I dont think im far out.

I didn’t pay import tax on mine for some reason 🤷‍♂️ Let’s be fair has anyone been done for using them in the uk 😅

@wytonpjs recently bought from EU and paid import on collar and handset. I think collars are around £300 new now.
And pricey they were too from France WITH VAT and admin BUT you can select legal UK frequencies and register them with Garmin in the UK. The T5 mini is great - I‘d be very sad to force upon my small Teckel (8kg) a full-sized collar!

As Keith says, an EU CE legal and UK OFCOM approved collar is currently £315 plus whatever you get stung for on import. However, if you are off on your hols in France ;)

Thanks for the replies. The collars were originally purchased from France would that make them Uk legal?

Yes - the French ones are EU compliant which the UK signed up whilst we were part of the EU. The frequencies used are reserved by OFCOM (EU1 and EU2) in the UKFAT as Short Range Devices. See extracts from Garmin, OFCOM and from my T5Mini Collar.
