Garmin Xero C1 Pro detection

I’ve been thinking about getting a Garmin Xero C1 Pro. The only thing holding me back is not knowing how far away the unit would need to be from other shooters so it doesn’t pick up their shots. Does any one have experience of this please? I couldn't find any guidance on the Garmin website or internet search.

I’d be using the unit at bisley, short Siberia in particular for load development. Are the benches/bays too close together to use this chrono?

Thanks in advance

I used mine last week with @hendrix's rifle i placed it under his bipod and was less than a bay’s width next to him. It didn’t pick up any of my rounds. It needs to be 15” from the muzzle to pick up the shot. Any further than this and you risk not picking up shots.

I used mine the other day, first shot I had bipod on max extension and the garmin didn't detect the shot. Lowered bipod and it picked up every shot thereafter.
My point is, I think another shooter would almost have to be lying on top of you, for the garmin to detect his shots.

It wont pick up the other rifles unless you place it equidistant between you
Dont ask me how it works but it just does!!

Used mine on a four position firing point with less than 2-3ft between us

Only picked up mine

Have quite a few rounds down range with the Garmin and it is a great piece of kit. Compared to the LabRadar it is easier and much less fussy to set up but does have a greater tendency to pick up shots from adjacent shooters. It doesn’t happen all the time but does definitely occur. The random shots are easily deleted

At Short Siberia it will sometime detect adjacent shots, evident by a calculating velocity symbol, but then doesn't produce a result. Just angle it slightly away from that direction and it stops detecting. It's incredibly reliable.
