at least this time we now have a better idea of how to screw it up.

If you are shooting them as pest control under a general licence there is no season, they can also be shot with a high capacity shotgun.

Would love to come up and help but have too many shooting commitments as it is

Having seen you shoot at our last club clay shoot I'd say you'd improved a fair bit!!

Morning all,
I have a farmer with a field of geese ruining it. About 40/50 last count. I need 3 people with shotguns who have steel shot and preferably know how to use them.
we are meeting Saturday at 10.15.
plan is, pincer movement before they take off, so we get them first thing.
go have a cuppa for an hour then when they come back, we try to sneak up on them. And repeat.

of course the best laid plans of mice and men.

If you are local and ideally have experience of shooting geese and want to come out drop me a PM. Preference will be given to people who are local. I won’t be looking to take people from the far side of the country.
This is pest control, not sport.

I read this posting too late!! I've been shooting for almost 50 years and have never shot geese or grouse (they are on my bucket list.) Next time you do this can you let me know I'm about 30 mins from Brize Norton. I'll leave my contact details in a PM. Regards.
