Gralloch assistance

The only thing I'm not 100% on is this tunnelling out business. At the moment I'm a cable tie and cut it off man. That leaves the bladder in though, so I'm going to have to try tunneling next time and getting it all out
Tunnelling is the bit I am least confident with but I am getting there. I'm not very practical and always worry about messing it up and spoiling the carcass. Like anything though, practice makes perfect.
Not something you need to be fiddling about trying to do in the field.
Tie everything off and deal with it properly back at the larder, where you've got better light and better facilities.
The less you do in the field the better.

Another barrier to learning is that many guides all want/need to do it differently, whist exposure to many different ways, however slight, is good learning it can also be confusing for a newbie.
I have now learnt that if out with a guide then a pre-gralloch discussion needs to take place before a knife goes anywhere near a carcass.
