Hi all,

I'm on the lookout for a Greener GP shotgun, 2 3/4" chamber. I want to scratch the itch of a Martini action, but don't want to spend a lot so not too worried about condition. As long as it shoots and ejects.

The closer to Worcester, the better. But happy to travel.

GP Gun?
Egyptian gun?
Rare choke gun?
Rare Police Gun MKIII 12 or 14 gauge?
Last of the line GP gun?
List goes on ….

Have a look at Paul Edwards RFD; Tony Morris or indeed most auctions. Lots of unloved ones. Police gun the only Brit designed and produced military shotgun I am aware of. If you’re lucky you’ll uncover one with the crow’s feet. Buy one whilst you can….

GP as in general purpose

My first new shotgun was a GP, purchased in the early fifties. Served me well over the years, I seem to remember it wasn't too happy ejecting the early plastic cases.
