Nice and I know not what Section 5 means but you can indeed still have a semi-auto pistol both in rimfire and centrefire in a number of corners of the UK.
For example, a number of my friends have the same lovely pistol without the (dreadful ironmongery) add-on In both .22 and 45. Oh and a few others - as can be seen from this Somme Centenary competition back In 2016.

That's the calibre they are and I believe you need it on FAC as a long-barrelled pistol
