One of my larger cabinets was fixed with Sikaflex. It was checked by what was then quite burly bloke and he was happy with it, he trued to pull it off the wall while I wiped the sweat from my brow. Lol
Make certain to know what you are drilling into. Fitting a cabinet for a mate I drilled down into the poured concrete floor of the room (fairly new build house) only for my 13mm drill bit to hit (perfectly centrally) the 13mm copper gas pipe buried in the concrete, severing it completely. When I shouted to him about it he wandered in with a lit cigarette asking what all the fuss was about !
German law allows empty cabinets over 250kg to be free standing.
Source some large cardboard sheets as used in delivering big tvs maybe from Currys back wall dumpster and scribe the outline and the 4x holes then you have a template. A hardboard sheet would do it too.
