Habrok wobbling eyepiece

Just upgraded from Basic 4K to the HQ35l. Fantastic piece of equipment but mine shows one issue. The left eyepiece is wobbling. I mean not just being loose but moving freely with some click-clack sound anyone experienced something similar?

I have an almost brand new Habrok Pro HQ50L with exactly the same problem. I used mine for less than 6 hrs over two stalks and the right hand eyepiece became loose and would not stay in its position ( the eyepieces slide for eye width, but can not be locked in position by their design ). Mine was so bad I contacted HikMicro who wanted to repair them, I wanted a replacement pair as they were so new, but was refused when dealing with the online Hikmicro customer support . I returned the Habroks to the dealer who sent them back to Hikmicro UK, requesting replacement rather than repair, this was done while I was out of the country. The Habroks were returned to the dealer within a week but they only repaired and replaced the eyepieces, the unit was not replaced as requested. I find this very poor considering the Habroks had been used for less than 6 hrs over 35 days from new purchase.
The repaired Habroks eyepieces now hold their position, but they have already have a slight built in wobble in the eyepieces and in order to keep them in the minium sliding position I have to use an elastic band to hold them in that position. If I had known that the eyepiece width adjustment could not be locked in position I would not have purchased them. The eyepiece design gives the impression that there is a locking section/screw, but this is just for show, it does nothing. Its a huge pity as the overall package is spot on with what it does, but the engineering with the eyepiece design is terrible. Based on my Hikmicro expeience so far I will not purchase anything from HikMicro without very careful checks.

Hi Dave, thankyou so much for such a clear report. I just came home from a 5 days deer's hunting in Scotland and the Habrok, that I bought just the week before leaving, immediately showed the issue. Nevertheless I needed and used it putting a patch with one o-ring slided between the eyepiece and the body of the binocular. from tomorrow I'll start bothering with Italian assistance 🤞. will let you know. Anyway it has been great, both in stalking and calling scenarios..
