Hare coursers streaming illegal sport to foreign betting markets

Protected minority...
Police frightened of them...
Traveller sites are a great place to run country lines drugs from... again the police are frightened to go on the sites..

The answer you may ask 🤔...
The oubliette, what else 😎

The answer is to stop noticing things, and thus becoming prejudiced against a particular section of the population.

If you believe those that know - rather than your own eyes, then you'll be a better person.....

It's just a case of 97.9% of a population giving the rest a bad name.

The real sad thing here (i know its largely arable ground) but if there was stock and the chase spilled in amongst a field with lambs for instance, then the farmer shoots the dog...... holy hell ensues.... how quick would the firearms squad deploy to the farmer and not worry about getting muddy!? Then the farmer becomes the bad guy 😡

No he doesn't.
And I've never had a firearms squad turn up on the occasions that I've shot a dog.

This sounds daft. Do you seriously think that if people ignore the crimes committed against them, that that is the answer and will stop further crimes?

So what do you "know" ?

It is a case of a small section of the populatiom having a culture which leads them to commit these crimes. In a multicultural society, you have to accept that there are differences between cultures. This is one of them.

Illegal hare coursing is and has been for many decades a huge problem predominantly in the Eastern counties. Land owners ,farmers and keepers have been fighting a losing battle with very little help from the Police or Authorities.
It is currently having more national media coverage which will hopefully make a difference.
I have experienced violence, intimidation, , arson, theft, damage to property, vehicles and livestock.
The modus operandi has changed since my early experience in the early 1980’s where large gangs of 50 plus people would be running just 2 dogs at a time , betting with one guy holding the purse.
Now the use of drones and live streaming with just a few guys has been around for the last few years.

Understanding differences between cultures is one thing but they don’t, should’t all be accepted.
Criminality is what it is, plain and simple, but we all know that.

The sarcasm font mustn't have been turned on.
I dont accept that you have to tolerate antisocial behavior from certain segments of the population at all.
In fact, I'd like a return to the complete lack of tolerance for that sort of crass and criminal culture that marked my earlier years - and I'm not that old.

No, but I have had illegal hunting with dogs on my land. Sorted that 😉
But I appreciate a gang of coursers running for big stakes might be somewhat different. However, I dont know of any situation where the police have treated the farmer as "the bad guy", as you put it.
It happens …..Trust me .
