HAWKE SERVICE - EXCEPTIONAL !

7 days ago I emailed Hawke about a problem with my wife's three-year-old 8x25 binoculars. One hinge and the eye-cups had become a bit loose. The same day I received a reply asking me to send proof of purchase which I did by email, late at night. The next working day (3 days ago) I posted them off as instructed and 2 days later (yesterday) Hawke emailed me to say that in addition to the issues I had raised they were 'out of collimation', and would be replaced.

I was unaware of this problem, but greatly appreciate their honest assessment and generous response. Amazingly the new binoculars arrived at 10.42 this morning via DPD - two minutes into the hour-long 'time slot' they had allocated. Also enclosed were a pair of objective lens covers for my own 8x42s to replace one I lost a fortnight ago - f.o.c.

So from Hawke receiving the problem pair to me getting my hands on the new ones was 2 days ! To say I'm pleased with Hawke's service is putting it mildly. I was kept informed at the earliest opportunity through every stage of the process, and the outcome was extremely satisfactory. DPD were pretty good too !
 
Exact same, the SF turret on my sidewinder scope was unscrewing so I contacted Hawke, 4 days later I received a replacement in the form of the latest upgraded model, they also included a new flip up cover to replace the one I had left on the scope I returned.
Full marks for service.
 
I got an original Frontier 6-24x50 when I bought a rifle, contacted Hawke about a couple of aspects and new turret covers for it, they said send it in, I did . They came back saying they gave it a full service and calibration and it’s in perfect working order as is the glass they sent it back with new turret caps and all for free, fantastic from Hawke and rare to have this level of support these days and they didn’t mind that it had been acquired through a secondhand sale.
 
Yes, I had a Problem with my spotting scope, emailed them and within 5 minutes received a reply, they wanted proof of purchase and the unit collected the following day and returned 2 days later, absolutely unbeatable customer service, very rare in today's world. 10 out of 10
 
Hawke and Vortex set the standards bloody amazing service, dedicated to customer service, a lot of other businesses could learn from them
