Hello everyone and a few questions

Hello there.

I'm Adam and I've just joined the site. Not much shooting experience since my days at school in the .22 rifle club and using .22 conversion kitted out cadet rifles.

Hoping to join my local rifle club in Bedfordshire to gather the experience I need to get my rifle cert, but I've heard Beds can take an awfully long time!!!!

I do have a question regarding selling though. My father in law passed away last year and we've inherited all of his scopes. I'm looking to offload most of them to people who could really enjoy using them. Can I do this (without the 30 day waiting/posting rule) as a site "Supporter" or would I have to pay for the full "Trade" membership to get started asap?

I believe it's 30 days or 30 meaningful posts to gain access to the classifieds.

If you spend a couple of evenings scrolling through the content, I'm sure you will soon have the required 30 meaningful posts. (Avoid the political section)

You need 30 constructive posts, and been a member for 30 days before you can use Classifieds. Otherwise you can become a Trade member for £10 a month.

Thanks for the confirmaiton on trading requirements. I'll either wait the 30 days and start some posting, or I'll go straight to trade membership to get them offloaded.

Cheers to BenBhoy, that's quite a set of findings from the report into the region's licencing. I'll have to get cracking then!!!
