Hello Everyone
My name is Mike and I live in NW Kent. I have been shooting shotguns for many years and over the last year I have started stalking, predominantly in Norfolk and surrounding areas.
I’ve looked at the forum a few times for comments regarding kit that I have been buying, but have just seen that the membership was open, so I registered. There seems to be a wealth of knowledge shared on the forum which I have found to be very useful for a new stalker.
I took the DSC1 with the BDS in February and have been getting out on organised estate culls about once a month, which has allowed me to start to learn the practicalities of stalking and slowly improve my butchery skills on the CWD and Muntjac I’ve managed to shoot.
I’ve recently picked up a basic 6.5 Creedmoor for my stalking activities, which I hope to be able to use on another stalk booked in the next few weeks.
I hope by joining the site I’ll be able to meet like minded people, gain more experience on stalking and hopefully try to find some deer stalking in the Kent countryside.
