Hi everyone and thanks for letting me join this community.

Moved to the UK (London) a bit more than 5yrs ago and started shooting only a couple of years ago. Clay pigeons first, then mainly pheasants and partridges with my 12g Beretta (I'm Italian myself) with a syndicate in Suffolk. Unfortunately I discovered deer stalking only few months ago...but it was love at first sight. The British countryside is fascinating and the variety of quarry her in the UK is staggering. Now I am already planning to attend a DSC1 course (in April) and I have applied for the FAC...a nice 30.06 will be my next birthday present :-D

Happy to meet Londoners (I hope there will be many) who want to share their passion!

Probably the most common in Italy...should be a decent all rounder. We'll see whether the Firearm Officer is OK with it...

ciao,
Welcome to the forum. Once you get bitten by the stalking bug..there no cure.

Hi and welcome aboard. A great chance to sample our varied game. I have done almost the reverse to you and hunt in Italy (Liguria Imperia squadra 47). I love the cinghialli hunting in the hills around Montalto. Enjoy our style of hunting and enjoy the variety. In boca a lupo grande cacciatore.
