Hello from me

Hi All,

I’ve been a lurker here for a while but thought it was time for me to step into the light and introduce myself. I’m currently living in Hampshire (originally from Essex) and have a keen interest in Deer Management and improving my knowledge within it.

I worked in the shooting industry (Clay and Game Shooting) for several years before joining the Royal Navy and have recently started the process of joining Defence Deer Management.

I hold an FAC with tickets for a .17HMR and .243.

Much like many in my situation, I am to gain as much experience as I can to broaden my learning and exposure within the community. I have also recently completed my DSC1.

Looking forward to getting stuck in.

We’re on a similar path by the sound of it but you are further along. I contacted DDM recently and doing my DSC1 in the new year.
