Hello from South Devon

Hi! I’m a teenager from South Devon who’s keen to pick up some part time work in south Devon, and get some experience shooting. I shoot air rifles and .22s with cadets regularly, and I’d love to do some “proper” shooting. If anyone has any advice I’d love to hear it.

welcome. If you are already shooting, get to know your local gun shop where you buy pellets etc. Especially if an 'older style' gun shop. Chat to the staff there as they will know locals. Often the easiest route in may be by beating on a local shoot. Most of the people beating will be shooters themselves and will be able to give good advice. However, "slowly slowly Catchie monkey".... do not rush in shouting out for them to take you...... let them get to know you first. Although you shoot with cadets, also consider a local club.
