Hi all,
A little bit about me, I grew up on air rifles, and moved up to shotguns shooting both clays and pest control and game. I have had a .22 on my fac for some years having started doing a bit of small bore shooting at a local range and pest control in the fields. I have gradually gained more permissions in my area over time predominantly moving up from rabbits and pigeons to foxes, and recently gained permission for deer.
After completing my DSC1 and getting an appropriate slot on my ticket for a deer rifle I thought i would join the forum due to the huge knowledge library available. As I have not had a stalking mentor I hope to gain more knowledge and grow my skills. Very much like passing your driving test demonstrates your theoretical and a base of practical knowledge there is still a long way to go to become a competent driver.
Looking forward to soaking up some wisdom, putting it into practice and who knows one day I will be able to pass something on.
