Hello folks,

I’m in the process of purchasing a Sako L579 Forester in .243 Winchester manufactured in the 1960s and interested to learn as much about the rifle as I can. I found The Stalking Directory via a link on the Sako Collectors forum. I tried to click on an image in a forum post here to see a larger version of it and it said I needed to be a member to access that content. So here I am.

I'm a father, a husband, and an Electrician. I enjoy the outdoors and spending quality time with my wife and children. I'm new to hunting, but not to shooting sports. I like to learn and engage in meaningful discussion.
 
Hello there. I hope you gain a lot of information and knowledge from this site then. There is a lot of experienced people on this site so you will for sure pick up a lot of information related to shooting. Good choice of your old rifle. ✌🏼

I’ve spent a fair amount of time over the years visiting King of Prussia and Philly itself, with numerous trips out to Hamburg to stock up at Cabelas :thumb:
