Hello group. I was referred here by a chap off the Africahunting site. I am from the United States, South Texas to be specific. Where the hurricanes land and a few average beaches! I'm retired federal law enforcement and currently manage a South Texas ranch for whitetail deer, turkey, hogs, and dove/quail. I've also been doing taxidermy for 35+ years. I have hunted Africa 6 xs, Czech Republic, Austria and Mexico. I mostly rifle hunt, but do get out the bow on occasion. I'm a lifetime member of SCI and yearly membership with DSC. Some of you might have seen me active on Texasbowhunter and Africahunting. I really try to help on taxidermy threads the best I can and offer my best opinions on those topics specifically. In the last 6 yrs I have also been sculpting bronzes, all African animals for the moment, but I must admit that has fallen off lately.
I've recently become interested in learning more about hunting in the UK. Hoping to do a hunting/vacation trip with the family someday. Sooner than later, fingers crossed.
