Hi All,
I am in the final stages of my FAC and SG application.
I’m also a full member of a rifle club in the Warwick / Stratford upon Avon area. I’m currently really into my benchrest shooting using a BSA international mk 5 which I plan to acquire when I have my license.
I also have some land permission on around 120 acres of farmland, I have grown up shooting there and have used various calibres on the land. I have put in for a .223 on my FAC for foxing / muntjac which we have seen around as well as the occasional roe. After shooting a .222-50 and a .223 on the land I’m considering changing the .223 to a .243 for something that’s more flat shooting like the .222-50 but that is also suitable for deer as well. This why I have landed on a .243.
I’m unsure on which to settle on and hope to find the knowledge here and maybe even the rifle when the time comes.
Thanks
Jamie
