I am 18 (woman), studying Wildlife Conservation, applying for my FAC and SGC, about to book DSC1, hoping to go into land and/or deer management after I complete my degree.

You should make contact with @Mouse on here. She had much the same career aspirations as yourself, and was working full-time in the deer industry by the time she was 19. She also teaches on DSC1 courses.
Oh, I recently passed on a deer book to reynardthefox on the site, she is just getting into stalking. Might be worth messaging. I came from a biology and conservation background too but my day job is so much more boring.
