High seat hieghts

Hi guys,

what is the best all round height for a high seat? There seems to be a range available between 2.5 and 3.5 meters. Is there an ideal height? Is the higher the better? Is 2.5m OK.

As high as you dare ,best seat I ever shot from and most comfortable was the double seeland with mesh floor .footrest and comfy seat and crazy high so high it didn't matter what way the wind was !

As high as it needs to be for the chosen site, without breaking the skyline preferably.

If the ground is flat height is not a problem 2.5mtrs is fine but if the ground rises away from the high seat the taller the better, i was once winded in a 4 mtr high seat by a Sika Stag at 295yds which was dead level with me at that distance
