HIK Micro September launch.

@mealiejimmy Not far off - looks like RRP for the 1280x1024 model is £4,999.99 👀
Don't think you'll be happy with the 25Hz refresh rate though :)
HIK are claiming an NETD of 18mK which is dubious, but if it is anywhere near that, they probably had to reduce the frame rate to give the sensor pixels more time to detect those small changes in temperature
IMHO, the Iray Tube TS60 LRF is a better deal
£500 less and a 50Hz refresh rate

Cheers

Bruce

As I type this reply on my 240hz monitor....no, I don't think I would 😂

The Stellar SH50L will have the same body as the Alpex LRF with the external LRF module, also not 100% if it will have the 2560px display like the SQ and SX models...

Only the SH50L and SQ50L will have the shutterless option and stated/claimed 15mk netD.

Only the SQ50L and SX60L will have the inline LRF

SH50L and SQ50L run at 50HZ whilst the SX60L runs at 25hz and is a stated/claimed 18mk netD.

I noticed on the German Hikmicro Instagram that they had a promo for a Thunder 3.0 front add on that looks like it also has an integrated LRF.View attachment 384515

Been using the Habrok 4K's on loan for the past few days now - completely agree with your comment of "have 2x thermal mag on a 640 sensor and a 5.5x mag optical 4K channel". The current 4.2x on the thermal channel is just too much.

Would it be out of the realms of possibility for them to add some sort of image stabilization into the optical channel? 👀 Using it at 11x is ok, but handheld with 22x mag is just too damn jittery, especially with it's relatively low refresh rate of 50hz.
I’ve just bought a pair of these-I know exactly what you mean on the stability. Did you find a way to overcome it?

I tend to "glass" using my quad sticks as a rest. I use Blaser sticks and turn down the supplied spigot instead of the yoke to fit a Spartan Universal Adapter fitted to each of my rifles. To make the x22 on the Habrok's useable, I fitted a Spartan universal adapter to the bottom of the 4k's - yet another addition to my Spartan ecosystem 🤗 (I've posted elsewhere about the versatility of the Spartan as a bipod mount, quad mount, suction mount for off the bonnet shots and on my Dead Rest mount fitted to the ATV. With the Habrok, that now 5 options).

Pretty much the same as wytonpjs's post above - rest them on sticks when "glassing". I do that with my regular binos anyway.

I've not plunged for the Habroks yet, going to wait for a future version with image stabilization built in. It's not a massive push for them to add this feature into a digital image.

According to the HIK website the HQ50 and HX60 models do have image stabilisation
Just got my hands on a pair of HX60s today but haven't had a chance to assess how much (if any) image stabilisation is present

Cheers

Bruce
image stabilisation is on the thermal channel only it seems, very impressive though

Hello, All this new Technology in mind boggling to a Luddite like me, Setting up my Sytong HT 60 got no where, Just about managed a Thermal spotter but still pending on if i got the settings right, As for my farm ratting remember the Photon MK 1 ?? Yes it is still working and on my PCP, now with a Night Fox 940 I/R torch, Do not think i will change any time soon
