Hi my father bought a hik stellar3 SQ50 in November 2025. He has started having bad shots with the rifle just not where he aimed and missing the odd fox so we took it to check zero yesterday gun is perfect at 100 yards. Started to go further out to our 200 yard target. Clicked the range finder for the ballistic calculator to do its job and it ranged it at 168yards then 190 then 167 all in the same target. Has anyone else had this ?

Was the air heavy with water droplets? Drizzle/misty? My thermal/LRF is not 100% reliable in those conditions, but it works fine in good conditions.
No it was a nice sunny day I have a pulsar on my rifle and was having no issues.

If everything is tight & torqued correctly, it's probably a fault that has developed in the Hik. Use the warranty, and send it back, or keep trying to solve the problem with trial & error and give yourself a headfcuk.

Yeah it’s only vertical horizontaly it’s fine

Range finders can be unreliable for small targets and flat ground. I have a hik stellar3 and haven't had any issues yet.
