Hi all - hope you knowledgeable folks can help -
looking for some assistance please - recently bought a HIKLH25 and looking for a way to attach a neck strap on ,
Now it has a threaded screw hole on the bottom- does anyone know what size screw would fit ? Thinking of getting a hoop screw so I can attach a lanyard to it (forgive me for my lack of technical description lol)
Thanks

Hi,
Usually they are 1/4 -20 UNC.
If it looks bigger than that, the next size is 3/8-16 UNC.
Kb.

Hi yes it does have that and if all else fails will attach a lanyard to that
My advice would be to get a camera stud for a lanyard and just tag them both with a short cord.
I have shuttered eye cups on my thermals and a cord around it as lost one getting through a hedge so had to replace that for just a a simple piece of cord.
I use both moulded tabs on my unit so it is bias lens down then when I pick it up the eye piece comes up first.

Thanks for the above that sounds like a plan - could I possible see a pic of the set up ? So can try to mirror it

Picked up a single loop camera neck strap on eBay for about £7. Fits through the fixing where the wrist strap loop goes but allows you to hang it around your neck.

Edit: just checked & it’s out of stock but Koods are a well established business in the photography sector so reckon they’ll have more in stock soon - might even be worth calling them to see if they actually have them but haven’t updated the eBay listing.
