Hilux steering lock

Came back to vehicle after been shopping and darn steering lock stays locked and engine won’t start. Tried all the wiggling. No joy. 22 plate
Awaiting breakdown recovery
Anyone else’s had same problem?
Will it happen again. When I am miles from anywhere in a muddy field?

No fault codes showed up on diagnostics. No joy with wiggling as per you tube. Eventually after pulling the adjustable steering column in and out a bit it released. Drove straight to dealer who today of course couldn't replicate the problem unless put strain on steering wheel as tried to started engine when it did fail to release. AA man seems to think sone kind of sensor in column which should be telling lock mechanism to release isn't and so the ecu doesn't get a message lock off, start engine. Anyway insisted technician strip column down to check everything. Really don't want that happening in a muddy field miles from anywhere
