HK MP5

Is anyone running an MP5 (.22cal) on the range, asking about reliability issues, aftermarket parts and accessories, dealers.

Any info appreciated, thinking maybe getting one, midlife lol.

I had a GSG5, didn't even give it away for fear someone would have a similar experience, I just scrapped it, looked good, however was unreliable and inaccurate no matter which round was used, if it shot more than 3 shots in a row I considered myself fortunate. Absolute pile of s***, replaced it with a Hammerli Tac R1,which is the total opposite and a joy to shoot

As for accessories, cheap stocks and furniture can be bought from airsoft suppliers

Contrary to Greenmist, I have a friend who very much loves his GSG. Doesn't seem to have any dramas with it and uses it several times a month to punch paper at 25yd ranges.

I do know he runs with with minimag though.
