Hnt26 Arca or not for sticks

Planning on a hnt26 for use on tripod & quad sticks…just wondering if the built in arca would impede stability on the quad sticks on uneven ground as essentially only one corner could would be in contact. Would the rounded forend be better on sticks? Thoughts anyone?

Can't imagine it would have any detrimental effect, plus you'd lose the flexibility of not having the built in arca for your tripod...you'd have to fit an external arca rail so might as well go with the flush fitting option

I don't know which quad sticks you will be using but my viperflex ones work fine with my arca rail.
The front rest on the sticks is wide and flat.

Non arca and add the metal rail should you want or need it.
Sable sticks have a flat top which matches flat arca nicely imo. No rolling with a round forend
