Home made cold smoker

I made a cold smocker out of an old upright fridge freezer, removed all the workings /pipes etc;, cut a hole in the middle that seperates the fridge from the freezer, cut a 6" hole in the bottom , 8 foot x 6"gas flu flexi pipe from the hole to a fire box, the smoke exits from a 2" hole in the top at the back of the "smocker" were the orignal pipes went through,I hang fish fillets from hooks suspended from the wire racks/ shelves, hung it on the side of the kennel , works a treat.

I made one out of an old 3 draw filling cabinet, the only problem is the condensation on the metal a wood box would be better and have found that Oak and Fruit wood shavings to be good. mostly for bacon and hams.
I would be a little wary of opeepee as it is one of the more toxic hard woods used if the effects of the dust are anything to go by.
