Home Nations Left in World Cup.

An Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman walk into a pub. Not a Welshman, he's still in New Zealand!

Being Saffa fan I did not like the 16 vs 15 match but you win some you lose some.

Platex have come out with a new bra called the Sprinbok...... loads of support but no cup!

England Rugby Fan? Feeling Depressed? Ring the RFU Helpline 0800 101010

that's 0800...... won nothing, won nothing, won nothing.

Even England's 'off-road' performance has come in for some criticism apparently:

"And now Land Rover, who sponsor both England Rugby and the World Cup, have gone to the IRB to express their displeasure with the team's attitude.

Land Rover took 11 players on a company day in which Land Rover Discoverys and Range Rover Sports were provided for players' off-road use on Muriwai Beach near Auckland.
The company complained that the England players were "arrogant and rude" to their personnel, treated the vehicles with no care and broke the speed limit.
Filmed footage from the day was intended for use in advertising and promotional material but is now said to be unusable due to England's poor attitude.
Land Rover have refused to comment publicly though, with a spokesperson saying: "Any discussions are part of our commercial partnership and therefore private."

Yes, it's funny how the Haka has evolved into the big Kiwi psychological thing that it is today. You watch this and you can't imagine the Baa-Baa's being that intimidated, can you?

Hmmmhhhh! That Haka might not have been intimidating but some of the players were.

I'd certainly agree with that. :thumb:

I watched the game again on DVD last night. For all the genius of that opening try by Gareth Williams, I still think Batty's two tries are scintillating, particularly the second one. No "Ash-Crash" style showboating, no fuss, no gesticulating to the crowd, just picks the ball up, turns around and walks back, very matter of fact....superb!

Watching the scrums, you realise how in the modern game they have helped it become very static....a real set piece. Sorry, almost came out there with the words "in the good old days" :old:

Got my fingers crossed for Wales tomorrow, won't be able to see it. :-( First shoot of the season so some good news.

Gave up a mornings cubbing, all I need now is win and the rest of the day on squirrels, come on WALES

Gutted, can't be more proud of the effort, can't blame the French, but the referee simply got it wrong and killed the game.

Firstly let me say that I am disappointed to see Wales go out, good effort.:tiphat:

I was having a debate about the match with my Welsh work colleague; he criticized my team, England, saying they played dirty and couldn’t kick a ball. The irony of the Wales v France game now, one player sent off for a dangerous tackle and how many missed kicks?
