I had the same problem with Hornady 223.
I've used 16 from the last box and 3 failed to fire.
Also they look discoloured as if they haven't been stored well but we're like it when bought.
Are these playing up again?
Started a new box of .223’s and got one missfire from 10.
I had quite a few missfires a while back and I believe there was a problem with their hard primers then?
what round are you using? i use 53gr in the superformance and only ever had one round that wouldnt chamber, but no misfires
on going onto home loads but using the Hornady cases i found the primers crimped or glued in. also what make of rifle are you using

I used them in my 270, gave up on them after they became very inconsistent. The first batch I had grouped well, second batch could barely hit a A4 bit of paper. Different primers in the second batch.
