I bought a pair of ancient steam driven machinery wheels and after a bit of frigging around fitted the original solid axle (65mm) into the hub. To the underside of the 200kg wheel it measure 8'. The axle has a rabbit netting wrap to allow the wisteria to grow up and then through the wheel spokes so as to hang the flower racemes over the rim edges. I still have a bit of work to do butthe wisteria has been in the ground for a month so far. A warm day had dog looking for shade...looks like he convinced himself it was the place to be out of the sun ha ha.
