How do you post a Poll?

How do you post a Poll?
I've seen the 'post a poll' section down in the additional options which has a tick box and number of options, but it doesn't seem to do anything? When and where do you get to choose the options?

Anyone? Surely someone has successfully posted a poll?

I think the poll options don't come up till you hit the 'submit' button.
