Howa 1500 or Remington 700

It's what I have on mine it's moved from my old .22-250 onto the .270 cf2 and now the .22-250 cf2 has an infiray night vision on it

I thought it was a good scope but the bolt just wouldn’t quite clear it. Sort of did. Was actually pretty perfect for the gun otherwise.

Time has come to change my shot out .22-250 currently have a savage axis and am wanting an upgrade so am stuck between the Remington 700 or the howa 1500 thinking varmint barrel on either rifle what are people's preferences or can some one suggest a better rifle not fussed on 2nd hand.

Have you seen the new Weatherby 307 model? It’s a 700 footprint, comes with an adjustable stocks, triggertech trigger, spiral fluted barrel and bolt…

My Weatherby/Howa has been faultless and accurate for the last 12 years. Recently bought a Sauer 100, problems with it straight away. I recommend the Howa for a reliable budget friendly rifle.
