I thought it was about time I stopped lurking unregistered in the background and register and introduce myself properly.
I’m from Liverpool where we’re blessed with a great sense of humour because let’s face it sometimes it’s all we’ve got.
My air gun journey actually started when I was about seven years old. My Da introduced me to the sport and we spent countless happy days together shooting until i was about sixteen. Like so many things in life adulthood comes along and priorities change and somehow four decades disappeared in the blink of an eye
Fast forward forty odd years (many many moons
!!!!), and now about three and a half months ago I decided to dust off those old memories and get back into the sport/hobby. I started with a springer, full of enthusiasm and nostalgia… Unfortunately my elbow which has done a fair few miles over the years, had other ideas. After a few sessions it politely informed me that the springer and I were no longer compatible after 30-50 shots
So naturally I did the sensible thing… I bought myself a PCP. Then before I knew it I bought another one. Three and a half months back in to the sport and I somehow own three rifles in total. Two PCPs and the original springer. Who knew this hobby was so addictive? I suspect quite a few of you are nodding knowingly
I’m very much still on the learning curve so I’ll probably have more questions than answers for a while i look forward to learning from you all sharing a few laughs and hopefully making some new friends along the way.
