Hunt sab up in court

Anyone who dresses in paramilitary gear, wears a balaclava, and acts in an intimidating manner towards others deserves to be treated like the terrorist he is.

"I have been criticized by referring to our federal masked men as 'ninja' ... Let us reflect upon the fact that a man who covers his face shows reason to be ashamed of what he is doing. A man who takes it upon himself to shed blood while concealing his identity is a revolting perversion of the warrior ethic. It has long been my conviction that a masked man with a gun is a target. I see no reason to change that view."

Col. John Dean "Jeff" Cooper

I can't speak for the UK , but running around out here dressed like a ninja and trying to intimidate people with threats would be very bad for your health , just saying .

Problem here is they go mob handed and often armed.
The wearing of face coverings of balaclavas should be out lawed but someone must have recognised this chap.

If they're armed , in groups and wearing face coverings , in Canada at least , that would constitute a threat to life . They would be dealt with accordingly . Nothing vigilante mind , the RCMP and municipal police , along with our courts , do not tolerate this sort of behavior............. and the locals wouldn't take to kindly to it either .

I'm not being a s**t stirrer , I honestly would like to know how things like this have come to be allowed in the UK ?

God knows! They still haven`t caught the one that beat the hunt master into unconsciousness and that was over a year ago. Presumably, as in the mentioned case if thirty sabs turn up but only one kicks off then they can only lift him as the rest are `Peacefully protesting`

Because the cancer of the liberal sixties has been allowed to fester and too many people were allowed to believe that direct action was acceptable against matters that did not immediately impact on their lives :-D

Seriously, back in the late sixties and early seventies the colonel bufton-tufton types running packs of Hounds saw hunt sabs as spotty students etc and made a big mistake in under-estimating the enemy; the balaclava-and-baseball-bat brigade are hunting haters plain and simple, anti-people not pro-animal as the attacks on hunting folk have shown

The US has the best idea where nearly every state makes it an offence to harass hunters [whatever means of take they are using]

It's a criminal offense in Alberta , and the rest of Canada , to interfere in any way , with someone in the act of hunting . I think that this legislation was passed to prevent exactly what is happening in the UK . According to Canadian law , if you were attacked by someone with a weapon , you can legally defend yourself . In other words , it would end badly for someone . IMHO , it borders on negligence on the governments part . Sooner or later , some one is going to be killed because the powers that be lacked the intestinal fortitude to step in and stop illegal harassment before it's to late .

Victoria is cracking down too. The proverbial hit the fan when one got shot three years ago during duck season. Now the police and game officers are charging them lest they are held responsible for not avoiding another accident as a result standing idly by. And the liberal protesters are getting the message. Before it was all about maximum airtime with the media. Now it's cop avoidance.

Anyone should have been able to recognise him by his fractured skull.

You have to fight fire with fire. They have camera crews, the hunt must have camera crews. They have 'hard men' then the hunt must have trained guards. Self defence is still legal in this country, but the libtards have managed to persuade the public that it is not.

As some one who has really taken to following the hunt in recent years Sabs are little more than a nuisance, they know the law and their rights inside out and every one has a camera/ go pro to try and film any reaction to their antics. Best to just ignore them. The ones to be careful of and can put the hunt staff in front of the magistrate are hidden a hedge bottom a mile away with a telephoto lens.
