Hello all,

Is there any hunting for visitors near Bergerac?

More specifically:

Village de Constant
Saint-Félix-de-Villadeix
Dordogne
France
24510

If it helps I speak some French and previously had a French hunting license.

Best wishes,

Scrummy

Probably too late maybe when you are going back this year... I have some roebucks available in that area.
Hi Both, I have a canal boat down at Buzet (therefore in SofF 2/3 times a year) and have wondered what the stalking arrangements are in France - I have never stalked abroad but 45 years here! (DSC2) Whats required? Any thoughts welcome.

Hi, you need a permit of course but this is very easy to arrange. You can do it online, tick all the boxes you need and 5 minutes later you have a French hunting permit. Roebucks are not that expensive, my partner over there asks € 250 per buck regardless of size. For the outings it's € 100 per day (2 outings). We usually take 3 days = 6 outings.

Thats great information, thanks. I this similar to UK or the driven, battue style? I would prefer the former!

I am Justin the process of selling my pad down there, so know the area reasonably well.
Lots of chasse privee signs in every woodland and from what I understand, all stalking is booked via the Mairie’s office.

Never done it personally as I understand it’s bloody expensive, but loads of deer about.
Regularly used to see groups of roe out in the fields around lalinde. Never seen any boar tho, but they are there.

Hope that helps.
