And decided to look up the address in WA on Google Earth. Its circa 1200 k`s north of Perth.

I took a screen capture of part of the cattle station and noted the centre pivots are 780 metres in diameter AND a full on bitumen landing strip.
Andy certainly has spent a few quid on the joint in getting a steak onto your plate.
Meanwhile I`m struggling to water my lawn in the drought.

Spent a lot of time in Nebraska, the pivot irrigation capital of the known universe!
Minderoo station is out in the boonies,I mean way out too. Getting the infrastructure built out there would be triple the cost elsewhere. I hate to think what the bitumen airstrip cost.
Kerry Packers jet strip in the NT all those years ago was reputed to be a $10 million buck job.
Some blokes just have a lot of effing dough.
