iC Zeiss 2.5-10 X 50

Hi,
I have a Zeiss iC 2.5-10 X 50 scope that was paired to my Blaser.
Since changed the scope, and given the Zeiss to a friend.
Is there a way to unpair the scope from the rifle, and revert back to operating the illumination via simply pulling out the turret?
I cannot find any instructions on how to unpair, and have removed the battery for an extended period in the hope of losing the pairing, but no luck.
Any advice would be appreciated. Also tried emailing Zeiss but no reply back at all.
Thanks.

IIRC, if you put it back onto your rifle, you would have to reset the scope / rifle, for it to work, so you should be able to use it as you require, if you don’t reset. Previously to set it up, you had to connect the unit by pulling out the IR control x 2 (?) and setting the Ic cocking slide.

The scope should work normally on any other rifle even if it is still paired to your Blaser.
If your friend also has a Blaser and wants to pair it to his rifle, he should simply repeat the 'training procedure'.

Thanks for the info. However the scope will simply not switch on the illumination while on the other rifle by using the turret (also a Blaser, but without the iC in the bolt). If I use my bolt (with iC) it operates without fail. Tried the training procedure, but this fails to register with the scope (no flashing of the illuminator). I had the scope off my rifle many times, but never had any issues with losing the pairing, and never had to repeat the training mode. We can get the illumination to operate by bringing a small magnet near the sensor on the scope, but would much prefer the option of using the turret to switch on/off if possible.

If it doesn‘t light up by operating the turret the scope is faulty.
Note the first paragraph in the description. I guess this doesn‘t work either?

The iC scope only works automatically if the cocking slide is iC If the IR doesn’t work with the mechanism pulled out and has a new battery then get it checked.
