Still working exactly as described. Range is good, 100y no problem. Still on the same set of batteries I got with the unit. I don’t use the app that comes with the app, I’ve been using uk game calls well, rabbit distress being a particular favourite. I’ve not had to use or tried many others yet.

I set it up 60 to 70 yards away as I want to be sure of a hit and then keep still. Simple stuff and gets results. Worth the hundred bucks I would say

It’s good, I get better than advertised range on mine at around 150y. I also use a free app which is called something like “UK game calls” rather than their recommended app. It has a lot of useful calls in it with my favourites being any of the mice/rat sounds and (I think) rabbit distress #3).

I put a piece of black electrical tape over the blue blinking led as I think that was annoying and I was worried Charlie might not be too keen on that. I also used the body moulding holes to attach an old sling so I don’t have to carry it. I would also recommend having a way of putting your phone on dark mode so it doesn’t light your face up like a Christmas tree.

Rob is a gent to deal with and I’m still on my first set of batteries in it, though I’m not much of a fox shooter hence the low investment.

It worked as well as you would imagine and I’ve got nothing negative to say about the unit.

I’ve been looking for a good review of the rascal on YouTube but there isn’t one. I’ve read this whole thread and it’s a great review to go on. Thanks very much for everything you’ve posted about it.
