Anyone got an idiot guide in how to set up Hik Alpex 4k to record

I've downloaded Hik Sight App on phone and followed instructions but it wont connect.

I've switched hotspot on in scope , on phone I've selected Hotspot on and disabled data saver but error message keeps saying no internet connection?

Ok. Assuming you've managed to connect the phone to the device first time round. When I want to download a video I've recorded I just turn on Hotpspot on the device. Then wifi on my phone to connect with device. Then go back into Hik Sight and your videos are there to view and download. Either the video you have hit the record button for manually or the pre record videos which are recoil activated. When there are new vids to download/view the "album" icon is illuminated within the the App. All other vids are under the "media" icon

On your phone, forget hotspot, go to your wifi settings and you should see your Hik device as a wifi connection, select that and password is the SN in the description
Off to work , will try later but I think the phone just states no internet connection even though the wifi is working

If you're getting this prompt you're good to go. My Pulsar devices give the same "internet connection may not be available" command but the phone is still connected to the device as shown/confirmed in pic 2. I used to think it was a problem but works fine on both Pulsar and this Hik 4k
